Discover your core Self, leading to inner peace and healing

What is IFS?

Have you ever felt like part of you wants to move forward, but another part is holding you back? Maybe one part of you wants to take risks and grow, while another part is filled with fear and keeps you stuck.

For example, some parts of you may want to go for a run in the morning, while others – stay in bed. Some parts may want you to clean the house, and others – to watch the new series on a streaming platform.

If that’s the way you feel, know it’s completely natural. In fact, this “internal conflict” is exactly what IFS (Internal Family Systems) tries to address to help you heal. This therapeutic approach (first developed by Richard Schwartz) sees your mind as made up of different "Parts" (subpersonalities or voices) existing within your core Self.

It’s important to keep in mind that there are no bad Parts. They always have good intentions and are always trying to help; IFS helps you understand and integrate those parts.

IFS is not only therapy modality. It’s a life-long transformation and healing tool that can be integrated with other therapy approaches to increase their effectiveness.

When is IFS helpful?

IFS helps you understand yourself, your thoughts, and your emotions on a deeper level. It’s been proven helpful when struggling with:With brainspotting, you will feel more balanced, resilient, and in control of your emotions. What does an IFS session look like?

Relief from internal conflict

IFS is about harmonizing different Parts so that you can start feeling more balanced and at peace with yourself. With this approach, you will enjoy more calmness and internal balance that’s crucial to mental well-being.

IFS is a collaborative approach to therapy. I will guide you through each session so that you can understand your inner system better. We’ll explore the different parts of your core, whether they’re related to current struggles or deeper past or underlying patterns. These might include parts that feel anxious, sad, angry, or protective.

We’ll try to connect with those parts, understand their role, and guide you toward healing and harmony. As you “build connection” with your Parts, we’ll work to help them release old, unhelpful patterns and transform to become healthier and empowering instead of adverse and overwhelming.

A deeper connection to your Self

The more you work with IFS, the more you’ll reconnect with your core Self, your compassionate and wise inner “guide”. This Self becomes the foundation for healing and lasting change that IFS is about.

Healing from past wounds

Whether your struggle stems from past trauma, emotional pain, or unhelpful patterns that affect your daily life, IFS helps you address the root causes of your struggles and address them, not just the symptoms.

Family System and Family Constellation Therapy

Family Constellation Therapy is a powerful approach that allows you to explore the patterns within your family system. It focuses on how past generations have shaped your emotional world to help you let unhelpful patterns that do not serve you go.

In Family Constellation Therapy, we work together to bring these hidden family patterns and dynamics to light, so that you can understand how they shape your actions, feelings, and relationships.

With this approach, you will be able to release old patterns and build healthier, more harmonious relationships with yourself and your loved ones.
