So, what can you expect to gain from therapy?

My goal for you is to spark a wave of positive change in your life. For my clients, this looks like improving self-awareness and emotional regulation, releasing self-judgment, building trust in relationships, understanding and processing past trauma, setting boundaries, and finding happiness and self-acceptance. You’ll discover tools to manage stress, make grounded decisions, heal childhood traumas, and let go of the past. 

Together, we will aim to address anxiety, self-criticism, and insecurity to achieve mental and emotional well-being. Ultimately, beginning a journey of self-discovery, growth, and the creation of a healthier, happier life.

My Approach

I will teach you tools and give you the resources that you need to begin this healing process, even right after our first session together. I strive to facilitate each session so that after our time together, you feel equipped to handle anything that comes your way. You will leave learning something new – either about yourself or the world around you. 


As your therapist, I will: 

  • Create a safe, free, non-judgmental space for you to come

  • Normalize your experiences so that you truly understand that you are not alone

  • Lead you to “aha” moments of realization 

  • Help you learn how to recognize physiological symptoms of stress 

  • Help you process your trauma and past experiences to not only move on, but to learn and grow from them

  • Give you the tools to navigate your life and future struggles with confidence

Hi, I’m Karolina, LMHC.

Thank you for being here. I acknowledge the strength and bravery that it takes to get to this step – to be here, reading my page – to determine if therapy with me might be the best fit for you. 

After many years of therapy experience, I created a counseling practice that aligns with my values and goals as a therapist– a holistic practice that takes into consideration all aspects of who you are.  I believe that you are made up of many interconnected parts – physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual. For you to experience deep healing, we must tailor your therapeutic experience to encompass every aspect of yourself. To focus on one part of the self and to neglect another part would mean missing out on deeper restoration and growth. 

I specialize in treating trauma, and I incorporate elements of traditional therapy with new and highly effective approaches, such as EMDR, IFS, and Brainspotting, in my work.  I focus on the mind-body-spirit connection and harnessing the power of body and mind to recover from traumatic experiences from the inside out.

Healing takes courage,  and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it.
